According to the police in Bach Ha commune, Nghe An province, they recently coordinated with the Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency and Traffic Police Team No. 2 of the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An province to discover a truck transporting 48 buffaloes and cows of unknown origin and without the required animal quarantine certificates.

Previously, through intelligence gathering, the Bach Ha commune police discovered that several individuals were illegally trading and transporting cattle from abroad into Vietnam via unofficial routes. These cattle often lacked invoices and documentation, and had not undergone veterinary quarantine. The individuals exploited price differences to purchase them cheaply and then sell them domestically for illicit profit.

These activities not only pose a risk of disease outbreaks to domestic livestock, but also affect economic management order, lead to tax revenue losses, and create unfair competition for legitimate businesses.
