The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the Provincial Journalists Association organized a field trip to develop propaganda topics on Party building work.
The working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department in coordination with the Provincial Journalists Association visited and learned about some good models and effective methods of Party building and the activities of two-level local governments in communes in the province.
In preparation for the 2025 Golden Hammer and Sickle Journalism Award on Party Building, from September 23 to 24, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission coordinated with the Provincial Journalists' Association to organize a working delegation to go on a field trip to learn about some good models and effective methods of Party building, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security and the activities of local governments at two levels in the communes of Kim Lien, Van An, Xuan Lam, Dai Dong, Anh Son, and Yen Xuan. Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Journalists' Association, and reporters from several press agencies.
In Kim Lien commune, the delegation learned about the results of Party building and political system work after nearly 3 months of operating the 2-level local government model in the area.
Implementing the arrangement and organization of the two-level local government apparatus, Kim Lien commune was established on the basis of merging 5 communes: Kim Lien, Nam Giang, Nam Cat, Hung Tien and Xuan Lam with 74 affiliated party organizations and 2,880 party members.
Immediately after its establishment, the Party Committee and the communal government quickly stabilized the organization, overcame difficulties and obstacles, and began operations to serve the people.
Also in Kim Lien commune, the working delegation visited the "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" hamlet model and the production model of OCOP products from lotus.
During the working trip, the delegation also visited Van An commune - established on the basis of merging 3 commune-level units: Town, Xuan Hoa and Thuong Tan Loc. Van An commune Party Committee has 74 party committees and affiliated party cells with 2,378 party members.
After operating the two-level local government model, the commune's political tasks were deployed on schedule; the leadership and direction of the Party Committee were strengthened; the grassroots government apparatus was gradually stabilized and promoted its effectiveness.
Notably, the settlement of administrative procedures for people and businesses is not only guaranteed, but also smoother and more convenient.
From July 1 to September 21, 2025, the commune received and processed 6,177 records of organizations and individuals.
Next, the delegation learned about Party building and socio-economic development; visited some good models in Xuan Lam and Dai Dong communes.
Since July 1, 2025, to implement the merger of commune-level administrative units, the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Dai Dong commune have focused on leading and directing the implementation, and the entire political system has actively participated with the highest political determination.
After nearly 3 months of operation, the two-level local government in Dai Dong commune has initially promoted efficiency in streamlining the apparatus, enhancing the role of the grassroots and serving the people better.
