Improving the professional skills of propaganda and mass mobilization for grassroots cadres in Nghe An
On the morning of September 24, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized a training conference on propaganda and mass mobilization work in 2025 (cluster 1) for nearly 200 cadres and specialists working in propaganda and mass mobilization from the province to the grassroots. Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department emphasized: Propaganda and mass mobilization are one of the important "pillars" in Party building work; at the same time, they are the "soft" driving force, the "key" connecting the Party's ideas with the people's hearts, between the guiding ideology and the practical actions of the political system.
Currently, the Party Committee and people in the province are focusing on implementing many important and practical political tasks to welcome the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; creating a solid premise to enter a new period of development.
Along with that, after the arrangement and merger of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department with Party organizations, commune-level administrative units and the implementation of a two-level local government, the team of cadres and specialists in propaganda and mass mobilization work has had some changes and the tasks required in the new situation are higher.
Therefore, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department organized a professional training conference to provide information, update new knowledge, and equip more skills and expertise in the fields of the Party's propaganda and mass mobilization functions and tasks for the staff working in propaganda and mass mobilization from the province to the grassroots level.
To ensure the quality of the conference, in addition to the information, skills and expertise provided by the leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department directly conveyed, the Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the conference should have open two-way exchanges and sharing, especially issues, lessons learned from practice and propose practical solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in the work process at the grassroots level.
Thereby, contributing to improving the advisory capacity, professional qualifications and expertise of propaganda and mass mobilization cadres at all levels, while at the same time aiming to further improve the quality and effectiveness of the Party's propaganda and mass mobilization work in the new situation.
The conference took place over 2 days, September 24 and 25, 2025. On the morning of September 24, the trainees listened to the Deputy Heads of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department: Tran Quoc Khanh and Pham Ngoc Canh directly convey 2 topics. Topic 1 provided an overview of the Party's political theory work in the locality; issues that need attention regarding the work of advising on resolution building and the work of organizing, disseminating, propagating and implementing the Party's resolutions to Party organizations and Party members. Topic 2 was about skills and expertise in propaganda, journalism and publishing work.
The conference also presented the following topics: Scientific and educational advisory work at the grassroots level in the current period; mass mobilization work in the new situation; professional skills in oral propaganda, reporting, and public opinion. At the same time, delegates discussed practical issues and solutions to improve the quality of the Party's propaganda and mass mobilization.
