In Vietnam, the upcoming harvest is forecast to be the highest in four years. Favorable weather conditions and strong investment from farmers mean supplies are expected to be more abundant, helping to reduce shortages and put pressure on global coffee prices to cool after a period of strong growth.

According to a survey by Bloomberg News, Vietnam's coffee output in the new crop year could reach 1.76 million tons, equivalent to about 29.4 million 60-kg bags, up about 6% compared to last year. This could also become the largest crop since the 2021-2022 period, helping Vietnam continue to affirm its position as the world's leading coffee exporter.
