The 2025 Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province held a preparatory session.

Attending and directing the working session were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council.

Also attending were comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors, and delegates.

The 2025 Nghe An Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress took place in an atmosphere of the entire Party, people and army striving to achieve achievements to celebrate the important anniversaries of the country and the province; towards the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

This is a political event of special significance, demonstrating the aspiration, belief and determination to develop Nghe An rapidly and sustainably, towards the goal of 2030, the 1,000-year milestone of the name Nghe An; at the same time, contributing with the whole country to realize the aspiration of a strong Vietnam by 2045.

With the theme "Solidarity, creativity, innovation, emulation to build Nghe An to develop rapidly and sustainably", the Congress has the task of summarizing and affirming the achievements, pointing out the limitations to overcome; honoring exemplary collectives and individuals, good people and good deeds.

At the same time, the Congress drew lessons in leadership and direction of emulation movements and commendation work, and determined directions, goals, and solutions for the 2025-2030 period to continue improving the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements across the province.

At the preparatory session, the Congress heard the Report on the verification of the qualifications of delegates; accordingly, there were 423 delegates attending the Congress, of which 166 were typical advanced delegates.

The preparatory session also approved the Congress Rules, emphasizing the spirit of democracy, responsibility, and discipline, and at the same time, asking delegates to raise awareness and set an example in compliance to contribute to the common success.

Also during the working session, with a spirit of democracy and high responsibility, the delegates elected the Presidium of 12 comrades and the Secretariat of 2 comrades.

One of the notable contents at the preparatory session was the election of delegates to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress. With high consensus, delegates approved the list of 36 delegates.

The Congress also approved a list of advanced models to present at the official Congress and the exchange night. These are typical collectives and individuals, representing patriotic emulation movements in various fields with vivid and convincing stories, contributing to strongly spreading the emulation spirit, encouraging revolutionary action movements throughout the Party, people and army of the province.

At the end of the preparatory session, comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the importance, significance and tasks of the 2025 Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province.

In order for the official session of the Congress and the night of exchange of advanced models to be successful, comrade Bui Thanh An requested the delegates to seriously and fully implement the proposed contents, programs, regulations and time; in particular, requested the delegates assigned to give speeches at the night of exchange of advanced models to prepare high-quality speeches and exchanges.

The 2025 Nghe An Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress will take place over two days (September 25-26, 2025) at the Provincial Labor Culture House; of which, the official session will take place on the morning of September 26. Before that, on the evening of September 25, at the Giao Te Hotel Conference Center, a night of exchange of advanced models and commendation and rewards will be held.

In addition to the above main events, there are also activities outside the Hall of the Provincial Labor Culture House including: Displaying images of the province's socio-economic and defense-security achievements in the period 2020 - 2025; Displaying booths of typical OCOP products of the province.
