Rising floodwaters began on the night of September 29th, and by this afternoon, more than 500 households in 20 out of 30 hamlets of Bich Hao and Thanh Binh Tho communes (Nghe An province) were flooded and cut off.
Binh Hao commune was formed by merging the communes of Mai Giang, Thanh Tung, Thanh Xuan, and Thanh Lam from the former Thanh Chuong district.
