Nghe An Provincial People's Committee gives opinions on regulations in the field of inspection and settlement of complaints and denunciations
On the morning of October 14, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a regular meeting to listen to and give opinions on the draft Decision replacing Decision No. 08/2020/QD-UBND dated April 9, 2020; Decision to abolish Decision No. 09/2020/QD-UBND dated April 9, 2020 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
At the meeting, delegates gave their opinions on the draft Decision replacing Decision No. 08/2020/QD-UBND dated April 9, 2020 on the assessment and classification of citizen reception work; settlement of complaints, denunciations, recommendations, reflections, land disputes; prevention and combat of corruption, waste and negativity, and implementation of inspection conclusions and decisions on handling inspections in Nghe An province.
The issuance of the Decision replacing Decision No. 08/2020/QD-UBND of the province aims to be consistent with the two-level local government, and at the same time overcome the shortcomings and limitations in the implementation process.
The Decision stipulates specific assessment criteria and classification of subjects such as Department Directors, heads of provincial-level agencies and units, and Commune-level People's Committee Chairmen, contributing to improving the responsibility of leaders and the quality of state management work in these fields.

At the meeting, comrade Bui Thanh An agreed with the content of the Decision to abolish Decision No. 09/2020/QD-UBND dated April 9, 2020 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on Regulations on standards and conditions for appointment and reappointment of the positions of Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department and equivalent positions of the Provincial Inspectorate; Chief Inspector, Deputy Chief Inspector of provincial-level departments, branches and sectors; Chief Inspector, Deputy Chief Inspector of districts, cities and towns in Nghe An province.
The abolition of Decision No. 09/2020/QD-UBND after the 2-level local arrangement is due to the new regulations on title standards that have replaced the old regulations. These regulations include general standards such as ideological background, ethics, lifestyle, sense of organization and discipline, qualifications, capacity and prestige, along with specific standards on working time and work experience.
