The Nghe An Red Cross Society donated over 100 million VND to the people of Van Tu commune.
On October 16th, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Tu commune, and the ALOBACSI health consultation channel in Ho Chi Minh City, organized a gift-giving event for 20 families affected by Typhoon No. 10 in Van Tu commune, Nghe An province.
The program was attended by representatives from the leadership of Van Tu commune and the ALOBACSI health consulting channel in Ho Chi Minh City.
On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to 20 households, each receiving 5 million VND in cash. In particular, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nhung's household in Tay Phu hamlet, who suffers from a serious illness and is facing extreme hardship, received an additional 8 million VND in support.

During the recent Typhoon No. 10, Van Tu commune suffered severe damage, with many hamlets completely isolated, many areas experiencing prolonged power outages, hundreds of houses having their roofs blown off and suffering serious damage, and many hamlets deeply submerged in floodwaters. The estimated damage exceeds 43 billion VND.

The households receiving gifts today are those that suffered heavy losses, are classified as poor households, and are policy-beneficiary households with particularly difficult circumstances in the commune. With the 5 million VND in support, the families have committed to developing their livelihoods, raising livestock, cultivating crops, or repairing damaged houses.
