Man detained for threatening female doctor.
The police in Dien Chau commune, Nghe An province, are currently holding Mr. Le Van Hoa (46 years old, residing in Minh Chau commune) in custody for investigation into the act of disturbing public order.
According to initial information, on the evening of October 14th, Mr. Hoa took his younger brother to Dien Chau General Hospital for examination due to a rat bite and high fever. In the administrative area of the outpatient department, while Dr. Nguyen Thi Th. was processing paperwork and asking for a family member's phone number, Mr. Hoa suddenly started shouting and expressing his frustration, claiming that the admission process was slow.
Then, Mr. Hoa rushed into the room, snatched a pen from the desk, put his arm around Dr. Th.'s neck from behind, and threatened to "stab her in the face." This behavior only stopped when another female medical staff member intervened and took Mr. Hoa out of the room.
At the police station, Mr. Hoa admitted to having drunk alcohol beforehand and being unable to control his actions.
The incident is currently under further investigation.
