In the top-of-the-line segment, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is the most popular product, and this is where price differences are most evident. According to surveys, stores selling at the listed price are mostly listed as "coming soon," "pre-order," or "temporarily out of stock." Conversely, stores with stock readily available tend to list prices higher than the manufacturer's suggested retail price.
For example, the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB has a listed price of 37.99 million VND, but many retailers have it in stock and are selling it for 38.59 million VND. Pro models and the "color factor": silver becomes a hot topic for pricing.
Despite numerous improvements, the iPhone 17 Pro with its smaller screen is not as popular as the Pro Max. Many authorized retailers are still "temporarily out of stock," but most versions in stores are priced lower than or close to the listed price, except for the silver version which has increased in price by 1–3 million VND.

In contrast to the Pro series, the iPhone Air VN/A is being sold below the listed price at most distributors. The reason is that users have to make many compromises: only one main camera, average battery life, while the price is high. These factors make the product less attractive, not only in Vietnam.
