According to RIA Novosti on October 25, Kirill Dmitriev, Director of the Russian Investment Fund (RDIF) and Special Envoy of the Russian President for Foreign Investment Cooperation, stated in an interview with CNN on October 24 that Russia is very interested in ending the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible.

"We want it to end as soon as possible. We all want this conflict to end diplomatically," said Kirill Dmitriev.

Earlier, in an interview with Fox News, the Russian president's special representative noted that the solution to the Ukraine conflict revolves around a few factors, including territorial issues, neutrality, and security guarantees for Ukraine.

Dmitriev stated: "Yes, Russia is ready to guarantee Ukraine's security. Of course, there is a territorial issue involving Russian citizens, who were attacked by Ukrainian forces even before the conflict began. In addition, there is the issue of Ukraine's neutrality, which is very important for Russia's security."

The head of RDIF noted that, in order to find a compromise on the Ukraine conflict, simply accelerating the pace of resolution would not be enough. Dmitriev suggested that the US side may have misunderstood the process. He also expressed confidence that the next summit between Russian and American leaders would take place, "but possibly later."

Mr. Dimitriev traveled to Washington to negotiate with the US administration, conveying to his colleagues the reasons for the prolonged negotiations with Ukraine. The RDIF director told reporters that several meetings were scheduled, but in an interview with Fox News, he declined to confirm an upcoming meeting with US President's special envoy Steve Whitkoff.
