Opening of the first Autumn Fair - 2025: Connecting people with production and business
Last night (October 25), at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade presided over and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Hanoi People's Committee to organize the opening ceremony of the first Autumn Fair - 2025 with the theme "Connecting people with production and business". This is a national trade promotion event, with the largest scale and stature ever.

Taking place from October 25 to November 4, the first Autumn Fair - 2025 attracted more than 2,500 enterprises from 34 provinces and cities in the country and international enterprises to participate. Among them, there are about 100 foreign enterprises from many continents.
In his opening speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: The first Autumn Fair in 2025 is an economic and cultural event of great significance, not only on a national scale, but also reaching international level, honoring typical products and brands with Vietnamese identity and intelligence; Contributing to stimulating domestic consumption, spreading the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", promoting trade, investment, international integration and achieving an economic growth rate of over 8% in 2025 and double digits in the following years.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee in carefully preparing a large-scale event in a short time, with a large amount of work, high requirements, and requiring the coordination of many agencies and units.
According to the Prime Minister, the Fair achieved “6 bests” including: Largest scale, most modern space, most diverse products, highest quality, most attractive activities and best incentive policies. The Prime Minister affirmed that the Autumn Fair is a vivid demonstration of the country’s integration mindset, outstanding capacity, breakthrough aspirations and contemporary stature. At the same time, it is a crystallized symbol of the spirit of solidarity, creativity, high determination, great efforts and drastic actions of the Government, ministries, branches, localities, business community and Vietnamese people.
Not only stopping at record numbers, the fair is also an opportunity to promote trade, investment, tourism, and promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam. This is also a space for domestic and foreign resources to be connected, consumption to be unleashed, and investment cooperation to be expanded. People and tourists not only come to experience and buy high-quality Vietnamese goods but also to enjoy the rich and unique culture, cuisine, and art of Vietnam and other friendly countries.
The fair is also an important bridge to Vietnamese enterprises strengthen international economic integration, exchange experiences and receive technology transfer, especially in digital transformation, green economy, circular economy, sharing economy, knowledge economy, contributing to realizing two 100-year strategic goals - for a peaceful, prosperous, prosperous, civilized and happy Vietnam.
The entire fair has 3,000 booths and more than 10,000 products on display, trading, and seeking cooperation opportunities. Along with the trade connection conference events, trade promotion forums, and business talk shows, there are also a series of cultural and artistic activities, cinema, fashion shows, sports, game competitions, and unique cuisine. The successful organization of the first Autumn Fair - 2025 will create the foundation for the formation of an annual four-season fair chain "Spring-Summer-Autumn-Winter", becoming an important destination for trade promotion, investment, and development of Vietnam's cultural industry, aiming to reach international standards.
Nghe An province's booth brought to the Fair many typical and unique industrial, rural industrial and OCOP products from 25 typical companies, enterprises and cooperatives in the province. Along with the area displaying and introducing typical local products, Nghe An tourism booth promoted promotional activities, introducing to visitors a lot of useful information, contributing to promoting the image of Nghe An, a safe, friendly and attractive destination for domestic and international friends. Each booth of Nghe An province at the first Autumn Fair - 2025 not only introduced products, but also told a cultural story, about people, about the land, about the aspiration of Nghe An to rise in the integration flow.
Notably, at the first Autumn Fair - 2025, the book "Nghe An People" edited by journalist Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council was selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to represent publishers to present to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the fair./.
