Improve knowledge and skills for lecturers and teachers teaching political theory subjects.
On the morning of October 30, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Public Security to organize a political theory training course for lecturers, teachers of political theory subjects, staff working in student affairs, and Youth Union staff in universities, colleges, and intermediate schools in the national education system nationwide.
The course is organized in person and online to provinces and cities across the country.
Realizing the importance of political theory education
In his speech, comrade Ngo Dong Hai - Member of the Central Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, emphasized the important role and significance of political theory education. He affirmed that in the past time, implementing Conclusion No. 94 of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on continuing to innovate the study of political theory in the national political education system; this work has achieved many positive results.
The quality of political theory teaching has been significantly improved; the team of lecturers and teachers in schools has made many efforts to innovate content, methods and approaches; many educational institutions have paid attention and invested properly in political theory education. The method of acquiring and imparting knowledge is increasingly vivid, linking theory with practice, helping learners to form a worldview, outlook on life and scientific methodology.
Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Ngo Dong Hai also raised many concerns about the program, amount of knowledge, curriculum content, training and education methods; the quality of the teaching staff. Particularly concerned about linking theoretical education with practical life, with the leadership and direction of the Party and State's policies, the role of Party committees and systems at all levels in political and ideological education. Thereby, innovating methodology, political awareness, and belief in students - people who play an important role in the future of the country.
Comrade Ngo Dong Hai also said: In response to the requirements for a breakthrough in education and training development according to Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo, and continuing to implement Conclusion No. 94 of the Party Central Committee Secretariat; in particular, the Party and State have issued many revolutionary policies, orientations and decisions for the country to enter a new era, and political theory education needs to continue to be focused on and promoted.
This is also the common political task of Party committees at all levels, including schools, first of all the team of managers, lecturers and teachers, to equip the young generation with theory, methodology, beliefs and aspirations. Therefore, each manager and student needs to clearly define their responsibilities, study seriously, research deeply, grasp and fully update theoretical and practical issues, new orientations and policies of the Party and State. Thereby, contributing to making political theory education truly become a source of spiritual motivation and a solid ideological foundation for the development of the country.
Communicate 7 important topics
The training course took place over two days, October 30 and 31. On the morning of October 30, the trainees listened to Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi - President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, deliver two topics: Continuing to perfect the theory of the Party's innovation path in the new era of development; the topic "The team of lecturers and teachers teaching political theory with the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new context".
During the 2 days, the students continued to learn 5 topics, including: Identifying, fighting, and refuting wrong and hostile viewpoints to protect the Party's ideological foundation in the new context; Education of ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for students today; Ho Chi Minh's creative arguments on socialism and building socialism in Vietnam; Innovation in teaching and learning methods of Ho Chi Minh's ideology combined with the application of information technology; Information on the strategic and important policies of the Politburo to contribute to the successful implementation of the 2 100-year goals in the era of strong and prosperous development of the nation.
