Nghe An launches 30-day and night campaign to transform tax management model for business households
On the morning of October 31, Nghe An Provincial Tax Department organized the launching ceremony of the "30-day and night campaign to transform the model and method of tax management for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax". This is an activity to concretize Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo and Project 3389 of the Ministry of Finance, aiming at the goal of modernizing and making transparent tax management, contributing to improving the efficiency of State budget collection.
Attending the launching ceremony at Nghe An Tax bridge point were comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, localities; business households and online bridge points at local tax offices.
Recently, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 68 on private economic development, the Ministry of Finance implemented Project 3389 on transforming the model and method of tax management for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax. This is a major, breakthrough policy, aiming to increase publicity and transparency in production and business activities, ensuring fairness in tax obligations.
Currently, Nghe An province has more than 67,600 business households, of which more than 1,100 households have switched to paying taxes by declaration method; nearly 29,000 households still pay taxes by lump-sum method; about 1,300 households have registered to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers...
To concretize the above policies, Nghe An Provincial Tax Department has launched a 30-day and night campaign to transform the model and method of tax management for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax.
Accordingly, the campaign will be implemented from November 1 to 30, with the goal of 100% of business households required to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers to register and use them in accordance with regulations; 80% of business households in areas with difficult economic conditions and 100% of business households in the remaining areas will install and use the Etax Mobile application; 100% of business households with revenue of VND 1 billion/year or more will complete the conversion to the declaration method before November 30, 2025; Be ready to convert all business households from lump-sum tax to declaration before January 1, 2026...
At the launching ceremony, representatives of communes, wards and business householdsexpressed high consensus and agreement with the policy of transforming the tax management model. Many opinions said that applying the method of declaration and electronic invoices will help business households to be more transparent in their operations, convenient in revenue management, and at the same time, enhance the reputation and competitiveness of business establishments. Some delegates also recommended that the Tax sector continue to strengthen guidance and technical support to help households access and implement more easily in the initial stage of conversion.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Nghe An Tax Department in the past time. He emphasized that the conversion of the tax management model is a key task, requiring close coordination between all levels, sectors, local authorities and the consensus of the people.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Tax sector needs to step up propaganda and guidance work so that business households clearly understand the benefits of conversion, at the same time, mobilize maximum human resources, and deploy a drastic and effective campaign.
The authorities of 130 communes and wards soon established a Steering Committee in November, supported the tax authorities with facilities, and coordinated extensive propaganda to each block and hamlet. Local police ensured security and order during the implementation process. Relevant departments and branches performed well their assigned tasks, supporting the tax authorities in completing their targets. Business households need to raise their awareness of law compliance, proactively coordinate and properly implement the tax authorities' instructions...
Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Tax Department thanked the province for its attention and direction and pledged that the entire sector would unite, act resolutely, and compete enthusiastically for the success of the campaign, contributing to the successful completion of the 2025 budget collection task, towards the goal of modernizing tax management, creating a transparent, fair, and sustainable business environment.
