Nghe An Traffic Police deploy high-level campaign to handle traffic violations by students

On the afternoon of October 31, the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Nghe An Provincial Police held a conference to disseminate and implement a peak period of handling students violating traffic order and safety.

This activity is carried out under the direction of Department C08 on strengthening the implementation of Directive 31/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on ensuring traffic order and safety (TTATGT) for school-age children in the new situation; Plan No. 887/KH-CAT-PC08 dated October 24, 2025 of Nghe An Provincial Police; Department PC08 issued Plan 3948/KH-PC08 dated October 24, 2025 on implementing the topic of school-age children violating TTATGT.

The implementation plan consists of 2 phases. Phase 1 (from October 24 to November 14, 2025) focuses on: Coordinating with the Commune Police to conduct basic investigations on traffic safety violations by students; Coordinating with the Board of Directors of schools and educational institutions to organize propaganda on laws, safe driving skills, and traffic situation handling skills; Clearly stating and condemning violations that cause traffic accidents; Organizing the signing of a commitment to comply with the law between students, parents and schools.

Teams and Stations under the Nghe An Traffic Police Department will simultaneously launch activities in phase 1, at the same time, organize propaganda sessions, disseminate laws at schools and listen to students' sharing about traffic situations, aiming to build a safe school traffic culture.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Manh Hung - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Police said: The violation of the law by students, youths and teenagers, especially in the field of traffic, is a common concern of the whole society. In the first phase of the peak of handling the topic, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An will synchronously deploy solutions, from propaganda, education, to inspection and handling of violations, while closely coordinating with schools.

The goal is to reduce traffic accidents among school-age children, ensure their safety on the way to school, and contribute to building a safe, civilized and sustainable school traffic culture.
