Currently, the tropical convergence zone is active, with its axis at about 11-14 degrees North latitude.
In the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, from Ca Mau to An Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, the western sea area of the North East Sea (including Hoang Sa archipelago) and the northern sea area of the Central East Sea, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms.
At Bach Long Vi station, strong northeast wind was recorded at level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8; at Ly Son station, gusting to level 7.

It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa) will have strong Northeast winds of level 6-7, gusts of level 8-9, waves of 3-5m high, and rough seas.
The Gulf of Tonkin has northeast wind level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, waves 2.5-3.5m high, rough seas.
The sea area from South Quang Tri to Hue has wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8, waves 2-3m high, rough sea.
During the day and night of November 3, the Gulf of Tonkin, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Ca Mau, from Ca Mau to An Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, the North and Central East Sea (including Hoang Sa), as well as the South East Sea area (including Truong Sa) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
During thunderstorms, there is a high possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind level 6-7, waves can be over 2m high.

Forecast for the day and night of November 4, the North East Sea area will continue to have strong Northeast wind level 6-7, gust level 8-9, waves 3-5m high; Bac Bo Gulf will have strong Northeast wind level 6, gust level 7-8, waves 2-3m high.
From the afternoon of November 4, the sea area east of the central East Sea will have winds gradually increasing to level 6-7, then increasing to level 8-9, the area near the storm center can reach level 10-12, gusting to level 14-15, waves 5-7m high, rough seas.
