Press agencies are stepping up their efforts to publicize the implementation of resolutions from Party congresses at all levels.
On the afternoon of November 4th, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Provincial Journalists Association jointly organized the November 2025 press briefing conference.
Comrades Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Nguyen Ba Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and Tran Minh Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association, and Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television, co-chaired the conference.
In October 2025, central and local press agencies operating in the province adhered to their principles and objectives, providing accurate and timely information, contributing to promoting the image of Nghe An, disseminating information about the activities of the Party committee, government, and functional forces, and reflecting on some issues of public concern.
The topics and themes prominently covered by the press included: General Secretary To Lam's visit and work in Nghe An province; the Central Inspection Committee's meeting with the Provincial Inspection Committee; Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army - inspecting the response to Typhoon No. 10 in Nghe An; the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union presenting gifts and visiting people affected by the typhoon in Nghe An; and the activities of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
In addition, news agencies have reported and updated on the content of the 10th Session – the final session of the 15th National Assembly term; and disseminated information about the 2025 Nghe An Provincial Emulation Congress. The press also directly covered and promptly updated on the developments of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
In the economic field, the press continued to report on positive economic developments; the acceleration of key projects; environmental pollution issues; and obstacles in land clearance affecting project progress.
In the field of healthcare, the attack at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, which left 7 people injured and caused public alarm, has been reported and reflected upon objectively by the press.
In the field of education and training, the press covered the tasks for the new school year; examples of overcoming difficulties in teaching and learning; and addressed the issue of excessive "voluntary" fees collected by parent associations.
In addition, the press has published many news articles and images reflecting and promoting the scenic spots, tourism potential, and people of Nghe An province; the challenges in tourism; the preservation of heritage; and the honoring of cultural values, contributing to the formation of cultural and tourism products.
In addition, the press reflected the spirit of launching offensives and suppressing crime; maintaining security and order by functional forces; implementing synchronized solutions on traffic order and safety, strengthening inspection and control, and minimizing traffic accidents.
Low-income individuals have difficulty accessing social housing policies; the case of hundreds of preschool teachers being "forgotten" when considered for promotion to higher civil servant positions... has been reported and reflected upon by the press.
In October 2025, media outlets supported and appealed for donations to help disadvantaged people in Nghe An province, raising a total of over 6 billion VND in cash and in-kind contributions.
Highly appreciating the performance of press agencies and outlining future propaganda work directions, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Pham Ngoc Canh requested press agencies to strengthen information and propaganda work on the implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress; and to publicize the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province and other provincial-level political and social organizations for the 2025-2030 term.
At the same time, we will intensify widespread propaganda on the work of Party building and rectification, and the building of the political system in 2025.
In addition, the press agencies continue to publicize movements, models, and exemplary cases of "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh"; patriotic emulation movements, exemplary models of "effective mass mobilization," and bright spots in implementing grassroots democracy regulations.
Focus on promoting information and communication regarding the development of the 5-year socio-economic development plan (2026-2030); and the socio-economic development results of Nghe An province in the remaining months of the year and for the whole year of 2025.
In addition, the press agencies focused on publicizing efforts to overcome difficulties in operating the two-tiered local government effectively, proactively disseminating information on the orientation of reorganizing villages, hamlets, and residential areas, etc.
