Visiting the wild sunflower season 2025 in Ba Vi: Detailed guide for a complete trip
Visiting the 2025 wild sunflower season at Ba Vi National Park starts from the end of October and lasts until the beginning of December, the golden time to admire the brilliant yellow color in the mountains and forests.
The wild sunflower season in Ba Vi in 2025 lasts from October 25 to December 7, with the most brilliant blooming period from November 1 to November 23.
This is the ideal time for visitors to admire the golden color spreading across the hillsides, slopes and winding paths in the forest. The fresh air, light clouds on the mountain tops create a romantic and poetic scene.

After purchasing tickets at the National Park gate, visitors move up to the pine forest 400m. Along the way are winding curves and carpets of golden wild sunflowers on both sides.
Arriving at the pine forest, park your car and turn left and walk about 300m to enter the "Wild Sunflower Forest" of nearly 10 hectares.
This area has a trail longer than 3km, very suitable for walking, taking pictures and feeling the scent of wild sunflowers in the middle of peaceful mountains and forests.
Entrance fee to Ba Vi National Park: adults 60,000 VND/trip, students 20,000 VND, pupils 10,000 VND, seniors or disabled people 30,000 VND.
Parking fee for motorbikes is 5,000 VND, bicycles are 3,000 VND, cars are from 25,000 VND to 55,000 VND depending on time.

Visitors should bring their student ID or priority documents to get the appropriate ticket price. To avoid crowds and traffic jams, choose to visit the wild sunflower season on weekdays instead of weekends.
Directions to Ba Vi National Park
From Hanoi, visitors can follow Thang Long Avenue or National Highway 32, then turn onto Provincial Road 414 (Son Tay - Da Chong) to Km8 + 800m and you will see the sign to Ba Vi National Park.
If you start from Phu Tho, you can go through Vinh Thinh, Trung Ha, Van Lang or Dong Quang bridges, then follow Provincial Road 414 to the signpost Km8 + 800m. The road system has been renovated, convenient for both motorbikes and cars during the wild sunflower season.

In the 400m pine forest, there are many resorts, tents and restaurants serving tourists. Tourists can contact the managers in the area to book rooms or food services.
In addition, the 1,100m core area also has a restaurant, serving Ba Vi specialties with fresh local ingredients, a memorable culinary experience on the journey to see the wild sunflower season.
Notes when visiting wild sunflower season
Before going up the mountain, check your car, fill it with gas, and wear sneakers for easy movement. Do not turn off the engine or let the car drift downhill. Keep clean, do not pick flowers, break branches, or make fires in the forest.
Ba Vi National Park Management Board reserves the right to refuse service and not refund if visitors violate regulations such as: speeding, making noise, driving under the influence of alcohol, or destroying the landscape during wild sunflower season.
