1 millimeter away from you episode 19: Ngan confronts Nghiem, showing her cards
Ngan frankly warned Nghiem after discovering her husband's true face in the lawsuit against Duc. She decided to side with her old neighbor, despite Nghiem's anger.
In episode 19 of "1 millimeter away from you", Ngan was completely disillusioned with her husband Nghiem and decided to confront him directly. She warned Nghiem to think carefully before suing Duc, because he might lose more than he gained.
Ngan bitterly realized her husband's true face
Initially, because she wanted to preserve her family's happiness, Ngan decided to withdraw from her management role at Vien's company and use her own money to invest in Nghiem's project. She thought that her husband's extreme reaction was because she did not really care about his feelings.
However, Ngan’s humility was met with a harsh reality. Nghiem was beaten by Duc, the boyfriend of the female intern he had harassed, to the point of being hospitalized. At the hospital, Nghiem continued to play the victim and showed a condescending attitude towards Ngan.
The incident reached its climax when Ngan accidentally overheard a conversation between Nghiem and his best friend. Nghiem did not repent and instead planned to sue Duc to put him in jail, expel him from school or demand 600 million VND in compensation. For the first time, Ngan realized the true nature of the husband she had devoted her wholeheartedly to.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Anh, Duc's mother, went to the hospital to beg Nghiem to spare her son. However, Nghiem not only refused but also loudly insulted and threatened her.
Witnessing that scene and realizing that Duc was the neighbor boy in May village, Ngan could not keep silent. She decided to go to the police station to bail Duc out. There, she met Vien. He said he would mobilize the company's legal team to protect Duc because "theoretically, Duc is a collaborator of the company, but emotionally, he is our younger brother".

When facing Nghiem, Ngan was no longer humble. In response to Nghiem's argument that not suing Duc would cause him to lose his honor, Ngan bluntly replied that it was his actions that tarnished his record.
She warned that if Nghiem insisted on pursuing the case, he would have to face Vien's powerful legal team. "Think carefully," Ngan said before walking away, leaving Nghiem speechless and unable to refute.

In another development, Thu met Bien at Chien's shop. However, upon recognizing him, Bien immediately ran away. Although Duc and Tu tried to chase and block the car, Bien still tried to escape once again.
