Conference on handover of duties of Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee

At the conference, witnessed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, former Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and comrade Nguyen Khac Than - Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee agreed to hand over the duties of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

The handover contents include: Tasks of the Provincial Party Secretary; dissemination and direction of the implementation of the Resolutions of the Central Committee and the Politburo; Implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the full-term and annual work program of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Arrangement and consolidation of the organizational apparatus; streamlining of staff according to the Resolutions of the Central Committee and the Conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat; on the staff; on the finances and assets of the Provincial Party Committee; on records, documents and public assets.

Discussing and handing over the tasks that the province has been implementing, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, former Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said that the province has completed the organization of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, approved the Action Program of the Provincial Party Executive Committee with 28 projects and 24 key projects.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung also discussed the initial results after more than 4 months of implementing the 2-level local government; especially emphasizing the difficulties and obstacles in practice. The results of implementing 7 important Resolutions of the Politburo; the implementation of strategic infrastructure projects...

Affirming that during his work in Nghe An province, he received support from the comrades in the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said that the collective of the Provincial Party Committee was very united and unified for the common goal. From there, he contributed to helping the province achieve initial results in implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, Party building, and the political system, which were recognized by the Central Government.

Sharing the difficulties and advantages of the province, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung said that in the next term, Nghe An sets a high development target, with an average growth rate of 12% or more, striving to become a fairly good province, with national growth pole under the direction of General Secretary To Lam.

Although this is a big challenge, he believes that with the solidarity and unity of the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee, consensus will be created among the Party Committee, government, people, and armed forces of the province to strive to achieve the goals in the coming period.

Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, former Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung respectfully thanked the members of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee for their attention, support and assistance during his time working in Nghe An province. "No matter what position or position I hold, I always have feelings for Nghe An - the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh and my comrades who have accompanied me in the past, forever imprinted in my mind" - Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung expressed.

At the same time, he also hopes that Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than and comrades in the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee will continue to lead and direct the Party Committee to successfully and excellently complete the assigned tasks, and achieve the development goals of Nghe An province according to the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

Speaking at the handover, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than respectfully thanked former Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung for his contributions to the province's development in recent times; and at the same time acknowledged and accepted the handover contents, directions and ideas of the comrade.

In the coming time, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than hopes that comrades in the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity to jointly lead and direct the effective implementation of the province's major goals and tasks; at the same time, they must strictly comply with principles and regulations, promote exemplary roles to successfully complete assigned tasks.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Khac Than affirmed that he will soon approach the work to join the collective of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Standing Committee to effectively lead and direct the implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045 and other key tasks.
