New format for the U17 World Cup 2025-2029
The U17 World Cup, from 2025 to 2029, will be held annually instead of every two years, aiming to increase opportunities for young teams to gain experience. The number of teams in the finals will be increased from 24 to 48, divided into 12 groups.
