New Generation Students 2025: 4 Impressive Projects from the South
Episode 2 of New Generation Students 2025 will introduce four innovative projects from southern universities, including a pain relief solution from chili, a system connecting fishermen, and fighting fast fashion.
The program "New Generation Students 2025" will air its second episode at 8:00 p.m. on November 16 on VTV3, officially starting the journey of the Southern region teams. The four best universities have been selected from 14 participating schools, promising to bring creative and inspiring projects.
Four teams and groundbreaking projects
In the upcoming episode, viewers will meet teams from Yersin University in Dalat, Lac Hong University, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-HCM) and University of Economics and Finance (UEF). Each team brings a unique project, demonstrating dedication to the community and diversity in research areas.
Project "Touch": Developing critical thinking for secondary school students
The team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-HCM) introduced the communication and education project "Touch". The project's goal is to foster critical and creative thinking for secondary school students through the Training of Trainers (ToT) model, thereby building a core group of students to spread positive thinking skills.
Project "Borderwave": Seafood connection system for fishermen
Lac Hong University brings the project "Borderwave", a digital platform designed to directly connect fishermen with buyers. This system not only helps manage the seafood supply chain transparently, allowing traceability of products, but also contributes to supporting Vietnam to remove the "yellow card" IUU (illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing).
Project "Chilicap": Pain Relief from Carolina Reaper Peppers
Representing Yersin University in Dalat is the project "Chilicap", a health care product extracted from the Carolina Reaper chili pepper. The project focuses on developing a product that helps relieve musculoskeletal pain, targeting farmers and laborers who often have to do heavy work.
Project "Genes": Reducing the impact of fast fashion
Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF), the first runner-up, returns with the community project "Con den den Gen". This project aims to minimize the harmful effects of the fast fashion industry by encouraging smart shopping habits, using sustainable products and promoting creative recycling, thereby contributing to environmental protection.
Accompanying young artists
In addition to the competing teams, the program also has the participation of "Companions". They are 11 outstanding young artists from the "All-Rookie" program, who will bring closeness, inspiration and connection to the students, creating a young generation of bravery, creativity and passion.
