Nguyen Van Dai has been charged.

On November 18th, the Investigation Security Agency of the Ministry of Public Security issued a Decision to prosecute and an Arrest Warrant for temporary detention against Nguyen Van Dai for the crime of "Making, possessing, disseminating or propagating information, documents, or items aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" as stipulated in Article 117 of the Penal Code.

Previously, on November 11th, the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security initiated a criminal case for "Making, possessing, distributing, or disseminating information, documents, or items aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam."

The investigation results provide sufficient grounds to determine that Nguyen Van Dai (born May 6, 1969 in Hung Yen; Nationality: Vietnamese; Ethnicity: Kinh; Registered permanent residence: Room 302, Z8, Bach Khoa Apartment Complex, Bach Mai Ward, Hanoi) committed acts of producing, possessing, distributing, and disseminating information, documents, and items aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On November 18th, the Investigation Security Agency of the Ministry of Public Security issued a Decision to prosecute and an Arrest Warrant for temporary detention against Nguyen Van Dai for the crime of "Making, possessing, disseminating or propagating information, documents, or items aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" as stipulated in Article 117 of the Penal Code. The Supreme People's Procuracy approved the aforementioned Decision to prosecute and the Arrest Warrant for temporary detention of Nguyen Van Dai.

Currently, the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security is coordinating with the Supreme People's Procuratorate to investigate and clarify the case and the criminal acts of the defendant in order to handle it according to the law.
