Episode 18 of the series "The Dividing Line" promises many dramatic plot twists as Vien, a crucial link in the network, faces the risk of being eliminated by his own boss, Thieu. Realizing the betrayal, Vien risks everything to escape in order to survive.
In the latest developments, Thieu, chairman of the Trinh Tam Group, arranged a car with the promise of helping Vien escape safely. However, instead of meeting in person, Thieu only informed her by phone that all the necessary documents had been prepared.
Sensing something was wrong, Vien noticed suspicious behavior from the driver. Without hesitation, he decided to break open the car door and flee into the deep forest. This action suggests that Thieu wanted to eliminate Vien, who held too many secrets about the multi-billion dollar gambling ring, in order to cover his tracks.
Residents of Trinh Tam are determined to demand their rights.
Parallel to Vien's escape, another conflict was also escalating. Ms. Phuoc, representing the residents of Trinh Tam apartment building, had a direct confrontation with the developer regarding the prolonged delay in issuing ownership certificates (pink books).
Despite explanations from the company, Ms. Phuoc and the residents refused to accept the delay. She asserted that this property was the result of a lifetime of hard work and sweat, and declared that she would fight to the end to protect her legitimate rights.
"Even a worm will turn if stepped on repeatedly. This time, we'll make sure everyone gets to the bottom of this and see who dares to defend your wrongdoings," Mrs. Phuoc declared angrily.
