Miss Thanh Khoa recently shared on her personal page a romantic moment when her Vietnamese-American boyfriend proposed to her on a helicopter. The beauty queen, born in 1994, said she was extremely happy and surprised by the proposal.

In particular, she revealed that her boyfriend had patiently proposed to her three times over the past five years. "Thank you for patiently proposing three times over the past five years. Knowing how happy I would be, I would have accepted the first time," Thanh Khoa shared emotionally.

Thanh Khoa, born in 1994, became widely known to the public after winning Miss World Student 2019 and Miss Hutech University 2019. Prior to that, she had participated in many major beauty pageants such as Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2016 and Miss World Vietnam 2019.

Few people know that she experienced a difficult childhood, having to put her studies on hold to help support her family financially. "I am grateful for my circumstances that have forged in me strength and resilience. Now I am no longer afraid of difficulties; I dare to face any challenge," she once shared.

Thanh Khoa's journey has not been smooth. In 2016, she had to withdraw from the Miss Ao Dai pageant due to academic limitations. Undeterred, she resolutely pursued further education and improved her foreign language skills. Her relentless efforts helped her shine and win the Miss World University 2019 crown. Most recently, she reached the Top 10 at Miss Universe Vietnam 2022.
