Pepper prices today, December 8, 2025: Domestic pepper prices fell sharply last week by 2000 to 3000 VND/kg. Pepper exports in November continued to increase for the fourth consecutive month.

Specifically, the price of pepper in Dak Lak is being purchased at 149,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. The price of pepper in Chu Se (Gia Lai) is being purchased at 147,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. The price of pepper in Dak Nong today is recorded at 149,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
In the Southeast region, the price of pepper in Ba Ria - Vung Tau is currently at 147,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday; in Binh Phuoc, the price of pepper today is at 148,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

In November 2025, pepper exports reached 18,582 tons with a value of US$121.5 million. Although slightly lower than the previous month, the increase of over 16% in volume and over 14% in value compared to the same period in 2024 helped maintain stable pepper prices. The average export price of black pepper reached US$6,519/ton, while white pepper reached US$8,072/ton, creating a relatively high price level compared to the beginning of the year.
Many key businesses continue to play a crucial role in export activities. Olam Vietnam recorded the strongest increase this month with nearly 2,000 tons; while Phuc Sinh, Simexco Dak Lak, and Nedspice also contributed significant output. The consistent participation of these companies helps stabilize the flow of goods, keeping pepper prices from fluctuating too sharply.
The US market continued to lead with 4,587 tons, accounting for nearly 25% of November exports. The UAE, China, Germany, and Thailand also maintained high demand, providing significant support for pepper prices. Although some markets reduced purchases due to economic weakness, overall demand remained positive.
By the end of November 2025, total pepper exports reached 225,009 tons with a value of nearly $1.52 billion. This figure far exceeds previous years' levels and is considered a new record for the industry. While export volume decreased slightly, value increased by more than 24% thanks to export prices remaining high at over $6,600/ton for black pepper and over $8,600/ton for white pepper.
Over the past 11 months, Olam Vietnam, Nedspice, Phuc Sinh, and Simexco continued to be among the leading companies. Each contributed 8-10% of total exports, helping to maintain a stable global supply. Notably, some businesses, despite a decrease in production, still saw a significant increase in export value thanks to the advantage of higher prices.
The US remains the largest market despite a decrease in imports compared to 2024. Conversely, the UAE and China saw a significant increase in demand, particularly China with a rise of over 83%, helping to balance export consumption. Markets such as India and Germany also maintained their important roles despite fluctuations.
Driven by export volumes and international demand, pepper prices are holding steady and are likely to maintain a positive trend in the near future. Supply and demand factors indicate a healthy market, supporting expectations of continued price stability in the short term.

According to the International Pepper Association (IPC), at the close of the most recent trading session, the IPC listed Indonesian Lampung black pepper at US$6,995/ton and Muntok white pepper at US$9,643/ton.
Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper is priced at $6,150/ton. Malaysian ASTA black pepper is priced at $9,000/ton; the price of Malaysian ASTA white pepper is $12,000/ton.
Today, Vietnamese black pepper is trading at US$6,500/ton for the 500 g/l variety; US$6,700/ton for the 550 g/l variety; and white pepper at US$9,250/ton.
