Filmed for the first time in an open space, Vietnam Today's Showtime program features special performances by the winner of the first season of Vietnam Idol.
The Showtime arts program filmed a special episode on December 9th with guest singer Phuong Vy, the winner of Vietnam Idol 2007. A highlight of this episode was that it was filmed outdoors for the first time, instead of in the usual studio.
A new art space on the banks of the Red River.
The setting chosen by the production team is a location on the banks of the Red River in Hanoi, with the Nhat Tan Bridge in the background. This change of location is expected to bring new emotions and visual experiences to viewers of the program.

During the show, singer Phuong Vy not only shared about her work and life but also delivered elaborately staged performances. She performed with dancers and received support from drag queens, creating vibrant and colorful shows.


The filming took place in a warm and cozy atmosphere, with enthusiastic support from the young audience present at the event.

Regarding the Showtime program
Showtime (Stage Lights) is an arts program broadcast on the national foreign affairs television channel - Vietnam Today. It provides a space for artists, designers, and creative professionals to meet, interact, and promote Vietnamese art to the world.
Prior to Phuong Vy, the program had featured many artists such as (S)TRONG Trong Hieu, conductor Dong Quang Vinh, singer-songwriter Vinh Khuat, architect Vo Trong Nghia, and singer-songwriter Tuimi.

A special episode of Showtime featuring singer Phuong Vy is scheduled to air on December 21st on Vietnam Today channel.
