On the evening of December 11th, the Department of Health organized a communication program in response to the National Action Month on Population and to commemorate the 64th anniversary of Vietnam's Population Day (December 26, 1961 – December 26, 2025).

ProgrammePopulation communicationThis is an annual event with positive significance for population workers and local people. The program serves as a meeting point for population workers at all levels to meet, learn, exchange experiences, and encourage each other to perform their assigned tasks well.

This year, the highlight of the media event was the cultural performances showcasing diverse traditions from the Vinh, Thanh Chuong, and Quy Hop Medical Centers, conveying messages of love for the homeland, praising the will to strive, the spirit of solidarity, and the responsibility of each individual in working together to protect public health.

The folk songs, traditional dances, and elaborate staging created a vibrant atmosphere, contributing to the strong dissemination of the humanitarian messages of the health sector to a large number of officials and citizens.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Health Nguyen Van Nam also highly appreciated the results of Nghe An's population and development work in recent years.

From a province with a high birth rate, ranking among the top 10 in the country, the birth rate has now decreased to near the replacement level. In particular, the intensified propaganda and mobilization efforts through various creative and accessible methods, tailored to different target groups and regions, have contributed to improving the quality of the population.

To achieve these results, the health sector leaders acknowledge and thank the contributions of the population officials at all levels in Nghe An province. These are the people who tirelessly work every day, "going from street to street, knocking on every door, and checking on every individual" for the happiness of each family and the sustainable development of society.

Through this, we also hope that population officials and collaborators will continue to make even greater efforts to successfully complete their assigned tasks, contributing to stabilizing the population size, improving population quality, and building a workforce that meets the requirements of the industrialization of our homeland and country.
