Episode 6 of "New Generation Students" features a competition between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City, with its educational project "Touch" and Yersin University in Da Lat with its pain relief solution "Chilicap".

Episode 6 of the "New Generation Students" program brought a dramatic showdown between two teams from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU-HCM and Yersin University in Da Lat. This was the final round of Group D in the Southern region, determining which team would advance to the next round.

The 'Touch' Project: Fostering critical thinking in middle school students.

The team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU-HCM presented a communication and education project called "Touch". This project focuses on fostering and developing critical and creative thinking skills among middle school students.

"Touch" operates on a Training of Trainers (ToT) model, aiming to build a core group of students capable of spreading positive thinking skills to their peers. With the slogan "Touch technology, open the future," the project expresses its desire to apply technology to create positive changes in education.

'Chilicap': Pain relief solution from Carolina Reaper chili peppers

Meanwhile, students from Yersin University in Da Lat presented a practical healthcare solution with their project "Chilicap." This product, extracted from the Carolina Reaper chili pepper, one of the world's hottest peppers, aims to reduce pain associated with musculoskeletal problems.

"Chilicap" targets farmers and laborers who frequently experience aches and pains due to the nature of their work. The project demonstrates a deep concern for community health issues.

The final round and the judging panel

In this episode, both teams will have to demonstrate the feasibility and growth potential of their project in a "simulated marketplace," while also presenting the investment amount they deem worthwhile. The presentations highlighted the creativity and talent of the students.

The judging panel for the Southern region in episode 6 included Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach - Vice President of the Vietnam Young Doctors Association, Ms. Tran Hoai Phuong - Investment Director of Wavemaker Partners, and businessman Bui Quang Minh.

The "New Generation Students" program airs at 8 PM every Sunday on VTV3, aiming to discover and support community-serving ideas and projects from students nationwide.
