The "Connection with China" competition honors 100 entries.
On the afternoon of December 15th, 100 outstanding authors were honored at the awards ceremony for the "My Connection with China" competition, an event commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.
On the afternoon of December 15th, the awards ceremony for the "My Connection with China" writing and storytelling contest 2025 took place, honoring 100 authors with the best works. The event was a meaningful activity within the framework of the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year.
Launched just 20 days ago (from November 11th to November 30th), the contest attracted significant interest with over 800 entries submitted. This activity aimed to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, contributing to strengthening understanding and friendship between the people of the two countries.
Ms. Vu Thanh Thuy, Editor-in-Chief of VTV Times and Head of the Organizing Committee, said: "Through each individual's story, we hope the competition will spread the spirit of strengthening the bond between the people of the two countries."

After two rounds of preliminary and final judging, the jury selected the 100 most outstanding works to award prizes. The prize structure includes 10 first prizes, 20 second prizes, 30 third prizes, and 40 consolation prizes.
Stories from the heart
The entries showcased diverse and creative perspectives on the relationship between the two countries. One of the winners, Nguyen Hieu Tin, shared his inspiration: "Chinese culture has deeply impressed me since my student days. I entered this competition with a heartfelt desire to express my gratitude to this culture through my side profession – calligraphy. I chose the phrase 'Deep Affection and Warm Friendship,' signifying the profound affection and warm friendship between the two nations."
The honored works are not only the fruits of individual creativity but also vivid evidence of the long-standing friendly neighborly relationship. The competition has successfully further strengthened human ties, contributing to expanding understanding and consolidating the enduring friendship between the people of Vietnam and China.
