Launching the House of Wisdom and the Bookcase of Compassion in Tam Thai border commune.

The program and its sponsors donated 1,200 books worth 40 million VND, 8 laptops, 20 million VND in cash, and many meaningful gifts for students and local people to Tam Thai Primary School (Tuong Duong district).

This event is the result of a concerted effort to raise funds and meticulous preparation by many parties, aimed at providing timely support to the school which suffered severe damage after two consecutive storms and floods.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tam, the school principal, said: "This meaningful gift will help the school quickly rebuild the library and computer room, which were completely damaged by the historic flood that completely submerged the first floor of the building."

The establishment of the House of Wisdom at Tam Thai Primary School will open up opportunities for richer and more diverse knowledge exchange and sharing for ethnic minority students in Tam Thai commune.

Mr. Tran Viet Bach, co-founder of the Malaysian House of Wisdom, shared: "The program hopes that these interesting books and computers will initially help the children satisfy their passion for reading and exploring the world, thereby motivating them to study and strive for success. This is especially important because the majority of students at Tam Thai Primary School are from ethnic minority groups, and most live with their grandparents and relatives because their parents work far away."

On this occasion, the "House of Wisdom" and "Compassionate Bookcase" programs and their sponsors continued to donate computers, clothing, and cash to the Thuy Nga House of Wisdom in Nghia Dong commune, Nghe An province. This is a house of wisdom located in a remote mountainous area, but it operates effectively and attracts widespread community participation, receiving strong support from the local government for many years.
