The Toyota Yaris Cross is developed on the DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) platform. The vehicle has dimensions of 4,310 x 1,770 x 1,615 mm (length x width x height). Notably, the ground clearance reaches 210 mm, surpassing some competitors in the same price range, allowing for more agile handling on uneven urban roads.

The front of the car is striking with its trapezoidal grille incorporating a fish-scale pattern. The lighting system is entirely LED, from the automatic headlights to the fog lights. The sporty body features 18-inch two-tone, five-spoke alloy wheels, combined with robust black plastic wheel arch cladding.

The Yaris Cross's cabin is designed with a driver-centric approach, featuring a modern, layered dashboard. It is equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.

Meanwhile, the HEV version combines a 90-horsepower petrol engine with a 79-horsepower electric motor, delivering impressive fuel economy with a consumption of just 3.8 liters/100 km in mixed driving conditions.

In terms of safety, the vehicle is equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense package, featuring many advanced functions such as adaptive cruise control (ACC), pre-collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assist. In addition, standard features include a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, tire pressure monitoring system, and six airbags, ensuring maximum peace of mind for passengers.
