Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Binh, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in charge of the Southern region, affirmed that the OCOP development strategy in the coming period needs to focus on depth and quality instead of just increasing the number of products. He emphasized the importance of linking products with sustainable raw material areas, the circular economy, and green transformation.
Furthermore, promoting digital transformation in production, traceability, and e-commerce are key factors in enhancing the product's standing. Integrating OCOP (One Commune One Product) with agricultural tourism not only improves product design but also contributes to economic development alongside the preservation of local culture.

Immediately after this event concludes, the regular networking program in Ho Chi Minh City, themed "The Colors and Flavors of OCOP Products and the Traditional Lunar New Year," will continue from December 29th to 31st, catering to the peak Tet shopping season for tourists and city residents.
