The Line, Episode 52: Thieu is betrayed by his subordinates, and Mr. Sach decides to end his relationship with Trinh.
Episode 52 of the series "The Dividing Line" witnesses a turning point when Phung confesses to the murder, while Mr. Sach decides to cut off contact and asks Trinh to erase all personal evidence.
Episode 52 of the series "The Dividing Line" marks a serious rift in the criminal alliance as key characters begin to seek ways to save themselves. While Thieu attempts to delay interrogation using health reasons, betrayal from subordinates and cold-blooded decisions from Mr. Sach push the situation into a new, tense phase.
Thieu tried to stall, but Phung confessed to the murder.
At the investigative agency, Thieu began to be questioned about related wrongdoings. However, he repeatedly cited poor health as a reason for refusing to answer questions. Despite having Phung's testimony and evidence that Thieu was behind the kidnapping of Nguyet – the head of the provincial inspection team – Thieu completely denied the allegations and even threatened the accusers.

Notably, after questioning, Phung revealed crucial details about Duc's death. It turned out that Duc was murdered because he possessed information about gambling officials and intended to extort money. To conceal the crime, Phung dumped Duc's body under the Lac Dong bridge and staged the scene to look like a suicide.

A loss of 687 billion VND occurred at the Trinh Tam project.
Alongside the murder cases, economic irregularities at the Trinh Tam project are also gradually coming to light. The results of the land valuation survey show that the amount of money lost reached 687 billion 810 million VND. This irregularity stemmed from the combined valuation of the prime land and the adjacent agricultural land, a detail that angered the investigating authorities.

Mr. Sach asked Trinh to erase all traces of her private life.
In another development, Trinh tried to contact Mr. Sach but only received indifference. When they met in a secluded place, Mr. Sach asserted that he was trying to distance Trinh from the wrongdoings to protect his position. He declared that he would see the game through to the end but demanded that Trinh no longer meet or call him directly; everything had to go through Trien.

To completely erase all traces of their intimate relationship, Mr. Sach demanded that Trinh sell the villa – their private residence. Although resentful of her lover's selfishness, Trinh began to realize the bleak future ahead. She had also been summoned to clarify violations at the Trinh Tam corporation and asserted that Thieu was autocratic, frequently making decisions without consulting the internal team.

The next episodes of the series "The Dividing Line" (episode 53) will be broadcast at 9 PM on January 15th on VTV1.
