The People's Committee of Nghe An province gives its opinion on the plan to organize the Cua Lo Tourism Festival 'Four Seasons Calling of the Sea'.
On the afternoon of January 16th, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to hear and give opinions on the plan to organize the Cua Lo Tourism Festival "Four Seasons of the Sea Calling".
Comrade Thai Van Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting.
The Cua Lo Tourism Festival "The Call of the Sea in All Four Seasons" comprises four major series of activities.
The Cua Lo Tourism Festival plan, themed "Four Seasons Calling from the Sea," was developed to concretize the tasks and solutions outlined in Action Program No. 55 of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, implementing Resolution No. 08 of the Politburo on developing tourism into a key economic sector; and simultaneously implementing the Nghe An Tourism Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2035.
According to the draft, the Cua Lo Tourism Festival "Four Seasons Calling from the Sea" is expected to be held throughout the year with four major series of activities encompassing various cultural, sports, tourism, trade, and agricultural events.
The "Cua Lo Welcomes Spring" series of activities focuses on cultural and artistic events, folk games at Binh Minh Square and the VinWonders Cua Hoi square; Tet decorations on main streets; organizing mini-shows at the VinWonders Cua Hoi shore and island area; maintaining and promoting traditional festivals such as the Van Loc Temple Festival, Mai Bang Temple Festival, the fishing festival, the Yen Luong Temple Festival, etc.
The "Cua Lo - Vibrant Summer" series of activities includes 11 events, among which is the opening ceremony of the Cua Lo Tourism Festival 2026 with the theme...""Cua Lo – the essence of Hoa Lam Thuy" and a high-altitude fireworks display; the Cua Lo Hot Air Balloon Festival 2026; the art program "The Nation's Complete Joy"; the expanded North Central Vietnam Tourism and Culinary Festival 2026; the summer festival with VinWonders Summer…
The "Cua Lo in Autumn" series of activities features minishows, VinWonders Autumn – the Autumn Festival, and high-altitude fireworks displays.

It is necessary to combine existing and unique values with the new product.
Concluding the meeting, Comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - affirmed that organizing the above-mentioned series of activities will contribute to overcoming the seasonal nature of tourism and effectively exploiting the potential and advantages of Cua Lo coastal tourist city.
Emphasizing the importance of this plan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that propaganda efforts be intensified; that the content and scale of events taking place during the year be carefully reviewed to ensure suitability and effectiveness; and that the existing and unique values, deeply rooted in Cua Lo's identity, be combined with new tourism products.
At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen connections and encourage the participation of large tourism corporations and businesses; create conditions for businesses to cooperate, invest, and create long-term strategies for the development of Cua Lo tourism, with the State playing a facilitating and leading role.
