Foreigners send thank-you letter to Nghe An Police
During the process of handling illegal immigration cases, officers from the Immigration Management Department of the Nghe An Provincial Police promptly discovered and rescued a Chinese citizen from a critical condition. Before being repatriated, the citizen wrote a letter expressing gratitude for the sense of responsibility and humane conduct of the Vietnamese police force.
On January 14th, the Immigration Management Department of the Nghe An Provincial Police handed over 7 Chinese citizens to Chinese authorities at the Mong Cai International Border Gate in accordance with regulations.
During the process of managing and handling cases of violations, the authorities discovered a foreigner exhibiting unstable health, experiencing abdominal pain and difficulty breathing. That same night, officers from the Immigration Management Department promptly transported the individual to the hospital for emergency treatment and monitored their health until their condition stabilized.
The person who received medical assistance was Chen Kang, 26, residing in Anhua County, Hunan Province, China. Thanks to timely emergency treatment, Chen Kang has overcome the critical stage and will continue to be managed and cared for according to proper procedures before being repatriated.
Before returning home, Mr. Chen Kang wrote a letter to the officers of the Immigration Management Department, expressing his gratitude for the care, support, and humane treatment he received during his time under supervision in Vietnam. In the letter, he stated that despite violating immigration regulations and lacking money and documents, he still received assistance from police officers, including being taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, having an interpreter to communicate with doctors, and having his health monitored until he stabilized.
According to authorities, Chen Kang, due to his difficult circumstances, sought employment through social media and was lured into working abroad.illegal entryUpon entering Vietnam and traveling to Nghe An province, this person was discovered, dealt with according to the law, and repatriation procedures were carried out.
