The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also proposed studying an increase in the proportion of delegates who are not Party members compared to the National Assembly Standing Committee's projection; studying an increase in the number of candidates for National Assembly delegates from ethnic minorities to ensure the election rate meets the regulations; reducing the number of candidates from executive agencies to supplement the structure from various components to ensure appropriateness; and suggesting consideration of the number of candidates for National Assembly delegates from central agencies with a surplus as stipulated.
The minutes of the first consultative meeting and the recommendations of the Presidium have been compiled by the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and sent to the National Election Council and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for consideration and resolution within their respective authorities, ensuring compliance with the legally prescribed timeframe.
