Nghe An: Highlights of January 31st
Provincial leaders met with the Nghe An Hometown Association in the South and visited Ms. Le Nguyen Hong Minh - daughter of two revolutionary pioneers Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai; the "Warm Tet" program was organized in various communes with many meaningful activities... these are some of the highlights of the day.
* On the morning of January 31st, in Ho Chi Minh City, comrades Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee; and leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and communes/wards attended the meeting.Meeting of the Nghe An Hometown Association in the Southern Region.

* To commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026), on the afternoon of January 31, a delegation from Nghe An province visited...Visiting and giving gifts to Mrs. Le Nguyen Hong Minh- The daughter of comrades Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, currently residing in Ho Chi Minh City.

* Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - Head of the Steering Committee for key national projects and important railway projects - presides over the meeting.6th meeting of the Steering Committee.
Regarding Nghe An province, where the North-South high-speed railway project passes through, Nghe An has now included the compensation, support, and resettlement work for the section of the project within the province's territory as one of the 12 projects under the direction of the Provincial Steering Committee for Key Projects.
Thanks to this decisive effort, the province has basically completed the survey, site selection, planning, appraisal, and approval of resettlement area plans; at the same time, it is preparing for investment and carrying out land clearance, striving to complete the construction of resettlement areas before June 30, 2026.

* The "Warm Tet" program is organized in communes with many meaningful activities such as: giving Tet gifts, medical examinations, health consultations, and distributing free medicine.
In Tam Thai commune, the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, in coordination with the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights, the 4th Military Region Command, and Nghe An province, organized an event.The program "Spring on the Border - A Warm Tet for Children - A Zero-Cost Tet Fair".

In Yen Hoa commune, the Ministry of Health, the Health and Life Newspaper, and other collaborating units, in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Nghe An Department of Health, organized a Cprogram "Warm Tet in the Highlands"2026.
