Vinh University organizes the program 'Warm Tet for Students' - Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026

On the evening of February 5th, Vinh University organized the program "Warm Tet for Students" - Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026, aiming to share and support disadvantaged students and international students so they can celebrate the traditional Tet holiday in a joyful and warm atmosphere.

Speaking at the event, the leader of Vinh University emphasized the humanitarian significance of the "Warm Tet for Students" program - an annual program demonstrating the university's concern for all students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and international students.

In 2025, with the support of agencies, businesses, and philanthropists, Vinh University mobilized over 6.2 billion VND to fund scholarships and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Of these, more than 2,000 students received scholarships; 19 orphaned students, 29 students with disabilities, and over 1,300 students from poor, near-poor, and particularly disadvantaged areas received timely support.

At the event, businesses and philanthropists presented sponsorship plaques, demonstrating their support and community responsibility towards the younger generation; and sharing the difficulties faced by students as Tet (Lunar New Year) approaches.

On this occasion, 666 students and international students received Tet gifts, with a total budget of over 463 million VND. This included 200 gift packages worth 1 million VND each, 150 gift packages worth 700,000 VND each for international students, and 316 gift packages worth 500,000 VND each.

This is the 12th year that Vinh University has organized the "Warm Tet for Students" program, demonstrating the care and sharing of the university's staff, lecturers, and employees, along with the support of businesses, organizations, and philanthropists; thereby encouraging students to overcome difficulties and focus on their studies and training.
