After a period of hiding in Cambodia, the Chau Binh commune police (Nghe An province) arrested wanted fugitive Hoang Van Kham when he returned to the locality to celebrate Tet.

Accordingly, on February 15, 2026, Hoang Van Kham (born in 2006), residing in Dinh Tien village, Quy Chau commune, was issued Wanted Notice No. 76 dated January 19, 2026, by the Security Investigation Agency of the Nghe An Provincial Police for the crime of "Organizing the escape of others to foreign countries".

After being wanted by the police, Kham fled to Cambodia. On the evening of February 14, 2026, he took a bus from Hai Duong province to Nghe An province.

As soon as they received information that Kham would be returning to his hometown, the Chau Binh commune police deployed forces to monitor and apprehend him.

At approximately 3:30 AM on February 15, 2026, when the passenger bus stopped in Chau Binh commune, the police quickly apprehended and arrested the suspect.

The case has now been handed over to the relevant authorities for further processing in accordance with the law.
