The election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in Nghe An province was successfully held and truly became a great festival for the entire population. This election was of immense importance, taking place in the context of the whole country implementing a two-tiered local government model, requiring the synchronized participation of the entire political system and all strata of the people.
Despite the vast area, complex terrain, and numerous mountainous, border, and remote regions still facing many difficulties, the voters of the province have upheld their patriotic traditions and actively participated in the election, with a very high voter turnout rate of 99.86%.
The success of the election is the culmination of the sense of responsibility and awareness of each citizen towards the country, demonstrating the strength of national unity and the unwavering faith of all strata of the people in the Party, the State, the Fatherland Front, and organizations within the political system.
