Silver prices rose alongside gold amid cooling crude oil prices and a weaker US dollar, coupled with ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East that show no signs of easing, causing capital to flow back to safe-haven assets.
Domestically, demand for silver as a store of value remains stable, with many investors anticipating silver prices to fluctuate in line with the upward trend of gold and the possibility of it being listed on the Vietnam Commodity Exchange.
The trend of digitizing precious metal investments is accelerating. Military Bank (MB), Digi Invest Joint Stock Company, and Ancarat Precious Metals Company have just signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop an online channel for accumulating precious metals.
From April 1st, customers can purchase Ancarat 999 silver bars and ingots and pay directly on the MBBank digital banking platform with a fast and transparent process.
In the near future, the parties plan to implement an additional feature for buying and selling silver directly on the application. Previously, BIDV customers were also able to buy Ancarat 99.9% silver through the "Silver Accumulation" feature on the digital banking application.
