Thirty aviation security personnel at Vinh Airport have been recruited into the police force and are assigned salaries and ranks according to regulations.
On the morning of April 17th, the Nghe An Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision to recruit 30 Vinh Airport security personnel into the People's Police. Attending the ceremony were leaders from the Provincial Police and the Vietnam Airports Corporation.

From March 1st, 2025, the Nghe An Provincial Police officially took over the responsibility of ensuring aviation security at Vinh International Airport. With this new and highly specialized task, involving the security and safety of people's lives and property, the provincial police leadership has identified aviation security as a particularly important responsibility. They have directed police units and local authorities to closely coordinate with the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) and Vinh International Airport to ensure absolute security and safety at the airport.

Given the importance of the task, the primary objective requirement is to streamline the organizational structure and build a truly professional, standardized, elite, and modern aviation security team. On December 30, 2025, the Provincial Police established the Aviation Security Team under the Immigration Management Department to ensure aviation security and to unify leadership and direction.
Based on the requirements, tasks, political qualities, and the monitoring of the work ethic, attitude, responsibility, and dedication of aviation security personnel, the Provincial Police Department has selected 30 individuals to be recruited into the People's Police force to perform aviation security duties.

The selection process is conducted openly, transparently, and according to procedures, strictly ensuring standards regarding political background, moral character, professional qualifications, work capacity, and health.

To effectively fulfill the requirements and tasks in the coming period, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police DepartmentIt is recommended that newly recruited officers into the People's Public Security Force quickly settle in, adapt to the disciplined environment, and combine practical experience with professional skills to build the image of a "skilled, professional, and people-serving" officer. Simultaneously, the managing unit is responsible for implementing a "hands-on" approach, focusing on systematic training and caring for the well-being of officers so they can confidently dedicate themselves to long-term service, contributing to ensuring security and order, and promoting the sustainable development of the aviation industry and the local economy.
