Doctor Pham Minh Truong publicly presented evidence accusing singer Trung Quan Idol of assaulting his wife in Ho Chi Minh City. The victim's side affirmed that they will report the incident to the police and the Department of Culture and Sports to clarify the wrongdoing.
The allegations against singer Trung Quân Idol for assaulting a woman are causing a stir in public opinion after concrete evidence was made public on April 21st. Dr. Phạm Minh Trường, a specialist in internal medicine, has directly spoken out about the singer's alleged attack on his wife, Dr. Nguyễn Linh Thùy, resulting in injuries.
Details of the assault in Ho Chi Minh City
According to Dr. Pham Minh Truong, the incident occurred at 1:45 AM at 26 Ho Tung Mau Street, Ho Chi Minh City. As Dr. Nguyen Linh Thuy and her colleagues were preparing to leave after a party attended by Trung Quan, the singer exhibited erratic behavior.
Doctor Truong stated that Trung Quan chased after and assaulted Ms. Thuy, causing injuries to her face and hands, and leaving her in a state of mental distress. The victim's side is currently reviewing CCTV footage and working with lawyers to create a legal document to present to the police.
We will resolutely handle this matter in accordance with the law.
The victim's family insists they will not accept any apology or compensation. Doctor Truong emphasized that his sole purpose is to protect the family and ensure the fairness of the law. He also plans to submit a petition to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports to request disciplinary action against Trung Quan for violating his artistic status.
Notably, the victim's side also publicly shared the content of messages allegedly from Trung Quan Idol, in which he expressed a desire for forgiveness in preparation for participating in the second season of the show "Brothers Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles." However, Dr. Truong's side rejected all attempts at mediation from a third party.
In response to these serious allegations, singer Trung Quân Idol remains silent and has temporarily deactivated his personal social media accounts. Authorities are expected to investigate the matter in accordance with regulations.
