Truck overturns on Dien Chau – Bai Vot highway.
A truck overturned on the Dien Chau – Bai Vot highway on the afternoon of April 23rd amidst heavy rain and slippery conditions, affecting a passenger car traveling in the opposite direction.
At approximately 3 PM on April 23rd, at Km442+510 on the Dien Chau – Bai Vot expressway, in the section passing through Than Linh commune (Nghe An province), a truck overturned while in transit.
According to surveillance camera footage along the route, the truck with license plate 17H-001.06 was traveling in the North-South direction. Upon crossing the Than Vu 2 bridge, the vehicle suddenly lost control, overturned, and collided with a passenger car with license plate 30L-440.01 traveling in the opposite direction.
At the time of the incident, it was raining heavily in the area, making the road surface slippery and difficult to control.
The rollover accident resulted in no casualties. However, the truck sustained significant damage to its front end, while the passenger car suffered damage to both driver-side tires and scratches to its body.
Immediately afterwards, a task force from Highway Traffic Police Team No. 4 (Road and Rail Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department - Traffic Police Department) arrived to direct traffic, examine the scene, and organize the towing of the vehicle.
Currently, traffic heading towards Hanoi is diverted to the Nghi Phuong intersection; traffic from Hanoi inwards is regulated to the National Highway 7 intersection (Km430).
