The OCOP (One Commune One Product) Specialty Fair of Nghe An Province and beyond will take place from May 25th to June 1st, 2026 in Cua Lo.
Within the framework of the Cua Lo Tourism Festival “Four Seasons Calling from the Sea” 2026, the Nghe An Regional OCOP Specialty Fair will officially take place from May 25th to June 1st, 2026 at Binh Minh Square and Binh Minh Street (Cua Lo Ward).
The event is expected to be a highlight of this year's summer tourism season, contributing to the promotion of local specialties, boosting trade, and stimulating consumer demand.
The fair was chaired by the Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade, organized by the Nghe An Center for Consulting and Support for Industry and Trade Development, in coordination with the Cua Lo Ward People's Committee and relevant units. The event was implemented according to the plan of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, aiming to concretize trade promotion activities associated with tourism development, contributing to boosting product consumption and enhancing the value of local goods.

Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan, Director of the Center for Support and Consulting for Industry and Trade Development in Nghe An, said that the fair will have 80 to 100 booths, open to visitors and shoppers from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily for 8 days. This is the first time a large-scale trade fair has been organized in conjunction with a provincial-level tourism festival, creating a harmonious space combining trade promotion activities and cultural and tourism experiences right in the heart of Cua Lo beach.
The fair brings together many OCOP (One Commune One Product) products that meet 3 to 5-star standards from Nghe An and other localities nationwide. Alongside these are regional specialties, traditional craft products, typical agricultural and aquatic products, and a diverse food court. Provinces and cities such as Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Son La, Cao Bang… bring their distinctive products, contributing to creating an attractive "cross-Vietnam culinary tourism" space right on the coast.
At the fair, visitors not only get to sightsee and shop but also have the opportunity to directly experience and enjoy many famous specialties of Nghe An such as Nam Dan soy sauce, Cu Do candy, Vinh eel porridge… in a spacious seaside setting. All products at the fair have publicly displayed prices, ensuring quality and providing peace of mind for consumers.

The fair not only targets local people and tourists, but also opens up great opportunities for businesses, cooperatives, and production and trading establishments to promote their products and expand their consumer markets.
With its location right in the center of the Festival – the heart of the event, expected to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors during the summer – participating units will have direct access to a large customer base, increasing sales and building their brand.
Furthermore, the fair also facilitates businesses in connecting with partners, distribution systems, supermarkets, and buyers inside and outside the province, thereby expanding product distribution channels sustainably. This activity is considered practical in the context where many small and medium-sized enterprises and rural industrial establishments still face difficulties in finding markets.
Notably, businesses in Nghe An with OCOP products or typical rural industrial products will receive 50% of their booth rental costs subsidized by the provincial budget. The fair's infrastructure is comprehensively invested with standard booths measuring 3m x 3m, and guaranteed electricity, water, security, and sanitation systems, allowing participating units to confidently display and introduce their products.

The organizers announced that units registering to participate in the fair before May 15, 2026 will be given priority in terms of favorable locations. Priority will be given to OCOP products with 3 stars or higher, typical rural industrial products at the provincial and regional levels, and highly representative local specialties.
With thorough preparation and a well-organized scale, the Nghe An Regional OCOP Specialty Fair and its expansion in 2026 promises to be an attractive event, contributing to enriching the series of activities of the Cua Lo Tourism Festival, and creating momentum to promote the socio-economic development of the province during the peak tourist season.
