Brigade 169 promptly assisted fishermen from Nghe An province who were in distress at sea.

Officers and soldiers of ship 636, Squadron 137, Brigade 169, Region 1 of the Navy, have just promptly assisted fishermen from Nghe An province who were in distress in the Con Co Special Economic Zone.

After receiving a distress signal from fishing vessel NA-95311-TS, captained by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vuong, born in 1988, from Quynh Mai commune, Nghe An province, which was operating in the sea area, reporting that a crew member had suffered an accident resulting in a dislocated shoulder blade and needed assistance, vessel 636 quickly reported and requested instructions from the Regional Command and Brigade to mobilize to the fishing vessel's location.

Immediately upon arrival, the commander of ship 636 dispatched medical personnel to examine and treat the fishermen.

In addition, the officers and crew of ship 636 provided 1,500 liters of fresh water, presented the national flag, life jackets, and some essential supplies to the fishermen.

Reportedly, the fishing vessel NA-95311-TS has 7 crew members, is engaged in squid fishing, and departed on May 5, 2026.
