Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai was elected Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 11th term.
Politburo member and Central Committee Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai was re-elected by consensus to continue serving as Chairperson of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 11th term, 2026-2031.
On the morning of May 13th, the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) entered its closing session; hearing a report on the results of the first meeting of the VFF Central Committee of the 11th term, which took place on the afternoon of May 12th.
According to the announced consultation results, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the 10th term - was re-elected by consultation to continue serving as Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the 11th term, for the period 2026-2031.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai was born in 1965 in Ninh Binh province. She holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Law. She was a member of the Politburo of the 13th and 14th Party Congresses, and a Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party for the 13th and 14th terms.
During his career, he held many important positions such as Deputy Chairman and then Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, Head of the Central Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, and Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee.
At the end of 2025, she was assigned by the Politburo to the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations. Subsequently, she was elected by consensus to the position of Chairperson of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term.
Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai was a member of the National Assembly in the 15th and 16th terms.
Speaking at the congress, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai said that the congress's trust "is both an honor and a great responsibility" for the elected members. She affirmed that she will work together with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to promote democracy and wisdom, uphold a spirit of responsibility, unity, innovation, and creativity to successfully fulfill the assigned tasks.
"We pledge absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people; to uphold political integrity and moral character, and to wholeheartedly serve the country and the people," Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai emphasized.

The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front stated that they will focus on implementing a comprehensive set of tasks and solutions to successfully carry out the Resolution of the Congress, contributing to consolidating the great national unity and further affirming the role and position of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period.
Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed her hope to continue receiving the attention, leadership, and guidance of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the leaders of the Party and State; the coordination of central and local committees, ministries, branches, and mass organizations; and the companionship of all strata of the people, experts, intellectuals, prominent figures, overseas compatriots, and member organizations of the Fatherland Front.
Taking place over three days, from May 11-13, the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, for the 2026-2031 term, is a significant socio-political event, marking the beginning of a new operational term and a new stage of development as socio-political organizations and mass associations assigned by the Party and State are placed under the direct control of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The conference elected 70 members to the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; 12 members were elected to the Standing Committee, holding the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman - General Secretary, and Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and 8 members were elected as non-specialized Vice Chairmen.
