The model "An Hau Parish: Civilized, God-fearing, and Patriotic" was developed and implemented by the Vinh Phu Ward People's Committee in the Xuan Binh, Xuan Trung, and Kim Nghia wards to mobilize the strength and coordination of clergy, officials, parishioners, and the people in the area. This serves as a basis for replicating the model in other parishes and sub-parishes in Vinh Phu Ward in the coming years.

An Hau Parish was separated from Lang Anh Parish and has nearly 700 parishioners. The parish pastoral council and parishioners always uphold the spirit of "Reverence for God, love for the country," actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, economic development, maintaining security and order, protecting the environment, and building a cultural life in the residential area.

The launch of the "An Hau Parish: Civilized, God-fearing, and Patriotic" model is of practical significance, contributing to the concretization of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on religious affairs. At the same time, it further affirms the close cooperation and coordination between the Party committee, government, police force, organizations, and associations with the parish in building unity and developing the locality into an increasingly civilized, prosperous, and beautiful place.

The model of "An Hau Parish: Civilized, God-fearing, and Patriotic" is built on the following criteria: ensuring freedom of belief and religion, and the rights and obligations of citizens; building unity and cohesion within the community; developing cultural life in residential areas; promoting economic development, legitimate wealth creation, and poverty alleviation; leveraging internal resources to create a civilized urban environment; and ensuring social security and order.

Based on that, tasks and solutions were proposed, focusing on promoting and encouraging parishioners to actively engage in labor, production, and business to develop the economy and reduce poverty; building national unity, living a life of "good deeds and virtuous conduct," "respecting God and loving the country," and living "the Gospel in the heart of the nation." Actively participating in the "National Unity for Building a Culturally Rich Life in Residential Areas" movement; building "Culturally Advanced Neighborhoods"; building prosperous, equal, progressive, and happy families; and practicing civilized customs in weddings, funerals, and festivals…

Speaking at the ceremony, Father Joseph Phan Van Thang, Chairman of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee, expressed his hope that the parishioners would wholeheartedly support the initiative to build a model of "An Hau Parish that is civilized, God-fearing, and patriotic," living virtuous lives and contributing to building an increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland.
At the ceremony, the leaders of Vinh Phu ward presented 150 national flags to the parishioners of An Hau Parish and gave 25 gifts to near-poor households and underprivileged students who have overcome difficulties.
