Throughout her studies abroad, Thanh Thảo not only maintained her 50% entrance scholarship but also consistently ranked among the top-performing students. Completing her program on time at Bentley University was considered a significant achievement, as during her final year, she had to constantly travel between Vietnam and the US to ensure her academic progress and participate in community activities.
Despite facing pressure from public expectations and time zone differences, the beauty queen born in 2002 persevered in pursuing her academic goals instead of opting for a leave of absence. At her graduation ceremony, Thanh Thảo attracted attention by wearing a sash with the Vietnamese flag on her graduation gown, showcasing her national pride in a foreign land.
